The little flowers that pop up at the corner of my house every spring were unfortunately caught by a late hit of snow and ice... In this shot they are frozen solid in the -5C weather.
They did bloom once it thawed out, but sadly only for a couple days...

You captured the 'crocus' beautifully. They among the first spring flowers and are known for poking up through the snow. Amazing hearty flowers, but like most perennials, the blooms don't last long. This makes your shot even sweeter. I used to have them in my garden, but a wretched squirrel ate every last bulb, probably the same little monster who ate my green onions.
