It can be really difficult to get a good picture of the things people are peddling without catching their attention... But with a long lens, a properly placed tree keeping you out of their peripherals, and a (big) bit of patience to wait for the fraction of a second where no one is walking through your frame in a tourist spot as busy as the Malecon, it can in fact be done
