Anyone entering the grounds of the town kremlin through the main gate goes on this road. Because the entryway twists around like this, any invaders can be assaulted with near-impunity by the defenders along the top of the wall through the arrow slots. The huge (256 ft tall) Trinity Cathedral is in the background.
